Settings

Click the gear icon in the window to open the Settings dialog.

Language​

Switch the UI language: English / 中文. Takes effect immediately and is saved locally in ~/.agivar/settings.json, so it persists across launches.

Note: the UI text follows this setting; which language the AI replies in mainly follows the language you talk to it in (it follows you by default).

Advanced​

  • Streamer Mode: off by default. When off, the recorder bar, annotation box, task progress overlay, and similar floating widgets are hidden from recordings and AI screenshots. When on, those widgets become visible, which is useful for demos, streams, or troubleshooting.
  • Check for updates: checks whether a newer version is available.
  • Document code: for developers or support workflows; regular users can ignore it.

Log out​

Log out clears your current session and returns to the sign-in page. Locally downloaded conversation history isn't deleted, but you'll need to sign back in to access cloud content such as the memory base. See Sign in & accounts.

Where these settings are stored​

Local preferences like UI language and Streamer Mode are stored in ~/.agivar/settings.json. Cloud content such as the memory base is tied to your account and is not in this file.
