  • Recording files management: open SettingsAdvancedRecording files. Use it to rename, delete, and batch delete recordings.

Shared Features

Search and Preview

If you have many recordings, search by recording name. Clear the search box to return to the full list.

Recordings are sorted by time, with recent recordings easier to find near the top.

Before sending or deleting a recording, preview it to make sure the content is complete and does not include passwords, verification codes, private keys, or other sensitive information.

If a recording is marked Recording interrupted, preview only plays the part that was saved.

Start a New Recording

If none of the existing recordings is suitable, you can start recording from the current window. This is useful when you planned to choose an old recording but realize you need to demonstrate the current workflow again.

Once recording starts, the current window closes and the floating recorder bar appears. You can open Recording files again while recording to find and attach older recordings.

Rename and Delete

Both places let you rename and delete recordings, but the entry points are different.

  • Select recording file dialog: hover over a recording to show the Edit and Delete buttons. This is best for a quick rename or deleting one recording.
  • Recording files management: the Edit button appears next to recordings; after selecting recordings, click Delete. This is best for managing recordings, especially batch deletion.

When renaming, press Enter to save, or click outside the input; press Esc to cancel. Names can be up to 18 characters.

Agivar asks for confirmation before deleting. After confirmation, the recordings are removed from Recording files.

warning

Make sure you no longer need a recording before deleting it. If you delete a recording that is still processing, its remaining processing work is stopped too.

Continuing a recording appends new actions to the original recording. The total recording length is limited to 10 minutes; once the limit is reached, it cannot be continued.

Recording Files Management

Recording files management is mainly for maintaining saved recordings, especially when you need to delete several recordings.
